MISS Ribbons for Roses supreme queen, Veronique Kuit, had one great year after she appeared as a waitress in the soapie, Binnelanders and also in Kurt Darren’s new music video, Laat Die Dansvloer Brand.
“This was my first-ever music video and I was lucky enough to be a part of Kurt Darren’s music video. The experience was amazing and offered me the opportunity to learn so many different things. I wish I could explain how much fun I had and how much hard work was put into it. It was long hours but it was absolutely worth every minute,” said Veronique.
According to her there were professional dancers and a few of them stood in the front as the main focus. “We then fell in behind them and danced. We danced with fire around us. It was pretty cool,” she said.

Veronique also said that Kurt Darren is a humble man who didn’t mind taking photos with his fans. “He was friendly and he spoke to us,” she added.
The RECORD asked her what is next for her as a model and she replied: “Big big things are happening for me in February 2018. I am beyond excited and words can’t describe how grateful I am for this opportunity. I’ll be representing South Africa as the reigning Miss Southern Africa 2017/2018 in Mumbai, India at this prestigious international competition called Miss MWI International which stands for Miss Magnificent Women International.

“Preparation and hard work begins now. I honestly can’t wait to meet all the beautiful delegates from across the World. I am currently looking for a few sponsors to sponsor me for this international competition. Sponsors will of course get the recognition.”
