INTERESTED in learning how to sew?

Jacob’s Well is offering sewing classes for beginners, advanced and mixed classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Details are as follows:

Beginners classes started on Tuesday, January 23 from 9am to 12pm or 12.30pm to 3.30pm;

Advanced classes start on Thursday, January 25 from 9am to 12pm or 12.30pm to 3.30pm;

Mixed classes start on Saturday, January 27 from 9am to 12pm or 12.30pm to 3.30pm.

“We have sewing machines and overlockers available. However, students may bring their own sewing machines,” said Estelle Bickerton from Jacob’s Well.

Students are taught from basics – making cellphone bags to making dresses, suits, etc.

“We only allow students from the age of 18 years. As a safety measure, no children are allowed to attend without their parent,” added Bickerton.

Anyone interested can contact Estelle between 8am and 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays on 011 867 3322 or send an email to jacobswell.alberton@gmail.com
