VALENTINE’S Day is very close now, so it’s probably time to consider what to get your boyfriend to show him how special he is to you.
This list is only a guide, though – feel free to simply use it as inspiration to come up with your own unique gift idea. Some boyfriends are very fussy, or perhaps you’re a bit broke already, but on this list you should get a relatively good idea of what to get for him.
· A funny t-shirt
You can browse in the shops or online for a t-shirt with a theme that he would like – perhaps it’s a video game, a band, or an animal that he adores – it’s up to your creativity.
· A Funko Pop vinyl figure
You can’t go wrong with a Funko Pop because these come in every character imaginable. Whether it’s different pets, movie stars, movie and cartoon characters, musicians, the list goes on – there is bound to be something he will like. You can buy Funko Pops online (Takealot or Raru for example) or you can browse through various comic books, music or toy shops.
· Something to do with his favourite hobby
If he loves fishing, buy him some colourful lures. If he loves reading, buy him a book you know he would love. If he’s a football fan, buy him an NFL jersey online. If he loves a certain rock star, buy him a poster to hang on his wall. You get the idea.
· A flash drive with his favourite songs, videos, books or films
Since it’s 2018 and almost everything can be downloaded online, this is a very nice idea. Buy a nice and big flash drive if you want to upload a bunch of his favourite movies, or a smaller one if you want to add some of his favourite music albums.
· A cute little tree or plant that will make him think of you
Every time he waters his little plant, he will think of you. It will grow together with your (possible) love for one another and, what’s more, it gives him free oxygen. Hurray!
· A framed picture that you drew for him
It’s not about your ability to draw, it’s about the thought and effort you put into it that will make any drawing a special gift to him. Try to draw something he really likes and put it in a nice frame before wrapping.
· A special experience
If you have some extra money to spare, why not spoil him with a special experience? Take a trip to the zoo, go to the theme park, book a hot air balloon ride or go go-karting. Be sure it’s something he would love to do and take lots of photos on the day to remember it forever.
· A coffee mug with a surprise inside
The coffee mug can also have a theme that he would like and these can also be bought online if you can’t find anything at the shops. You can fill it with his favourite candy or anything small in size that he would like (or find practical).
