Thieves show no respect for God’s house

According to an elder, the thieves might have thought the collection money was kept in the church.

TODAY thieves don’t care where they break into, whether it be a residential home, school, police station or church. All they want is to steal goods and sell or trade them for cash or drugs with dealers or drug lords will who take anything regardless of where it comes from. They would even exchange a crucifix for drugs.

On Tuesday, February 20 some remorseless thieves broke into the New Apostolic Church in Hudson Street. The thieves entered through a side door from which they had broken off a panel to make a hole.

In the Bible we read that the God we serve does not sleep. So, the break-in ended in a flop because the thieves found nothing to steal inside the church and left empty-handed.

According to an elder of the church, the thieves might have thought the collection money was kept in the church. The elder warned thieves that God is watching them.
