ALBERTON – Christian Bikers (Derkien Riders) in the south of Johannesburg are faced with a lot of turmoil and heartaches in families and friends.

They thought they’d something about this, this Christmas. They know that they, as a Club in the South, will not be able to change the world, but they can make a difference in a single child’s life.

Derkien Riders have contacted AMCARE and spoke to Cathy; they want to enrich a few children and woman’s lives by giving them something pretty or something nice for Christmas. AMCARE help abused families, and abandoned Children to get them back into society. They really do fantastic work and Derkien Riders thought it a good idea to give them a helping hand.

Some of these Children went through so much pain and heartache in the past few months. Much more than any child should face in a lifetime.

Unfortunately, they were unable to collect as much as they wished during the year. They would like to encourage all of you to please contact them and help to make a difference in their lives. They are not asking for money but if you wish to make a cash donation you are more than welcome to.

They are asking for old toys or clothes that do not fit your children anymore, even a packet of sweets or a tin of food. There are ladies as well in the Victim Empowerment Scheme and they too would appreciate something nice after the ordeal they went through.
