IT was a sad day on March 28 for Marais Viljoen staff and learners as it was the funeral of the beloved Tazz (Tebogo Philesters) Sekoakoa (17).
She passed away on March 20 and was a Grade 12 learner at the school. The cause of death has not yet been established, but no foul play is suspected.
On March 26 learners held a remembrance service for Tazz in the school hall. The school also closed at 10.30am on March 28 due to Tazz’s funeral.
Martie Heystek, principal of Hoërskool Marais Viljoen, the educators, staff and learners extend their condolences to the family and friends of Tass in these difficult times.
