Ladies Matter group donates to Alberton SPCA

Lynne Lopez, together with Liz de Klerk, came to drop off the donations where they were thanked by Kingstone Siziba, Alberton SPCA senior inspector.

THE Alberton SPCA recently gave a talk at the Ladies Matter group and the members all donated food, blankets and toys to the SPCA.

Lynne Lopez, together with Liz de Klerk, came to drop off the donations where they were thanked by Kingstone Siziba, Alberton SPCA senior inspector.

“These donations go a long way in helping us as we receive no government funding and are entirely reliant on the local community. This has come at the right time as stocks of dried dog food had run low. On behalf of Alberton SPCA and the dogs in our care, I thank you all,” said Kingstone.

“Ladies Matter trains and encourages youth and women as well as raising awareness of the many struggles women face today. They choose a different charity each time to support and believe in empowering women. These two ladies are certainly giving back to the community,” said Vanja Ingold, SPCA member.
