Alberton Figures Finesse models show off

Contestants from Figures Finesse Alberton perform exceptionally at the South African IMTA cruise.

FOURTEEN contestants from Alberton took part in the second South African International Modelling and Talent Association (IMTA) Cruise Convention that took place aboard the MSC Sinfonia.

Over a 100 contestants from 17 South African and Namibian Figures Finesse International branches competed at the convention.

Competitors at the convention took part in categories including models, singers, dancers and actors from Southern Africa. Models and actors competed in six different competitions where they competed in preliminaries and finals.

All participating contestants have been invited to compete at the IMTA Convention in New York City where over 300 international talent agents congregate. The grand prize in each category was an all-expenses-paid trip to the IMTA Convention in New York from July 12 to 21 held at the Hilton Hotel in Midtown New York.

The Figures Finesse International Alberton branch entered three dancers, a singer, an actor and nine models. The branch was the South African IMTA Fashion Team Winners where the theme was – #workfromHome. This category was judged on music and sequence.

“Congratulations to all the participating contestants,” said Emma Griffin-Coetzer. “You made us proud to be South African.”
