Free sterilisations at Alberton SPCA

Community outreach sterilisations at Alberton SPCA.

ON May 17, thanks to the generosity of GDARD and the SAVA Community Veterinary Clinics, funds have been made available to offer free sterilisations at the Alberton SPCA.

This is only open to residents of the Alberton municipal area who are on a low income, state pension or who do not have a regular income.

“The Alberton SPCA is asking for a voluntary donation of at least R100 when booking in their pet in order that we can continue with our work of caring for the animals under our protection,” said Vanja Ingold, admin manager from the SPCA.

All dogs and cats must have their vaccinations up to date. If your pet has not been vaccinated, please advise when booking as arrangements will be made. In order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, all pets must have been vaccinated at least two weeks prior. The Alberton SPCA reserves the right to deny admittance to non-vaccinated dogs for health and safety reasons.

To book, please phone the Alberton SPCA on 011 907 1568 and quote ‘Steri Day, May 17’. Please note proof of address and income may be required and numbers are limited.
