Cantare Children’s Choir at the World Choir Games

After their participation at the World Choir Games, Cantare returned with silver and bronze medals.

IT’S safe to say that the Cantare Children’s Choir is the best of the best. They made the community proud when, after their participation at the World Choir Games last week in Pretoria, they returned with silver and bronze medals.

This event was huge. Choirs from as far as Russia and China showed off what they are able to do, but this also confirmed the high quality of our local choirs, hence the rich harvest of awards they earned.

So great is the pride and thankfulness that a special celebratory concert will be held in the Linder Auditorium, Parktown, on July 20 at 7pm. Participating choirs will include the Jacaranda Children’s Choir who obtained a gold medal, the Linden Choir, the Monnas Choir from Krugersdorp, and the choir from Rustenburg High School.

It’s an occasion that cannot be missed. Tickets are available at www.webtickets.co.za or any Pick n Pay. Tickets range from R80 to R120 per person.
