Water-filled hole in Randhart is still open
A hole dug in Randhart is still open with no time given on when it will be closed.
A HOLE filled with water remains open on General Alberts Street in Randhart.
The hole, which was originally dug to investigate a reported leak, is yet to be closed by the city of Ekurhuleni. According to an enquiry by Alderman Bruna Haipel, the water in the hole is not from a leak as originally suspected but rather groundwater that is seeping through into the hole.
No estimate as to when the hole will be filled was given to the RECORD.
