Alberton SPCA outreach van refurbished
The newly refurbished van will ensure that the SPCA can carry on serving previously disadvantaged communities.
ALBERTON SPCA’s outreach van recently underwent a complete refurbishment thanks to the generosity of Imperial Cargo Solutions.
The van was in a poor state of repair internally and the SPCA had been appealing for assistance. Once again, Imperial Cargo Solutions came to their aid and not only refurbished the cab but they rebuilt the internal cupboards, repaired the rear door and put on a new roof.
The transformation is amazing. The van is once again ready to be used to go into the local townships enabling SPCA staff to offer help and advice to people on how to care for their animals and provide basic services.
Alberton SPCA receives no government funding and therefore is entirely reliant on the local community to support our mission of preventing cruelty to animals.
Kingstone Siziba, manager and senior inspector at Alberton SPCA said: “It is heart-warming when local companies assist the SPCA and we are all extremely grateful. The newly refurbished van will ensure we can carry on our mandate to serve the previously disadvantaged communities. Thank you again Imperial Cargo Solutions.”
