SAPS protect the Alberton area

A job well done by SAPS.

ON NOVEMBER 23 and 24 Captain Matlou with the assistance of the Reservist, Shift B and C members managed to arrest 33 suspects of different crimes such as: being drunk in public; illegal immigrants; shoplifting; reckless and negligent driving; dealing with liquor without a licence; theft; assault; housebreaking; possession of stolen property; malicious damage to property and a warrant of arrest.

The following were either confiscated or closed down during the operation: liquor from illegal shebeens, copper cables, two knives, illegal dvd’s and three illegal shebeens closed.

The officers who helped during this time were: W/O Erasmus, Constables: Mdluli, Dhlame. Mphela, Khampha, Nthlane, Sathekge, Thomo, R/W/O Motankisi and R/Constable Fenyane.

The management of Alberton SAPS thank them for their good work and keeping Alberton safe by removing criminals from the streets. Keep up the good work officers.
