AMCARE Christmas Cakes off to Namibia
No less than 200 of AMCARE’S famous Christmas Cakes were last week packed and sent off to Namibia following an order for these cakes from Santam in Namibia.
ALBERTON -According to Sandra Human, Skills Trainer Catering at AMCARE in Newmarket Park, this is a first for AMCARE. “We’ve had big orders before, but this is the first time that our cakes leave South Africa’s borders,” she proudly explains.
An AMCARE mini-bus was used to take the cakes to Sunninghill from where they were packed and sealed to be delivered to the client.
“We are very proud of our cakes,” Sandra says. “Our recipe ensures that the texture of the cakes remain moist and the taste always exquisite.”
