H.E.L.P Forum making a difference
The mission of H.E.L.P is to bring together these various different services and social organisations operating in and around Alberton.
THE idea arose because there were many organisations operating in Alberton and assisting the same people and giving donations to the same people, but without engaging with any of the other role players, leading to overlap or gaps in the overall assistance being provided to the less privileged.
The mission of H.E.L.P is to bring together these various different services and social organisations operating in and around Alberton, so as to foster a culture of cooperation and collaboration between them, as working together and sharing everyone’s ideas, efforts, and knowledge will enable the various organisations to be more effective in helping to uplift the less privileged.
The various organisations get together once a month where their representatives share their ideas and initiatives with the broader group. From here the organisations can co-operate and collaborate in partnership in achieving the vision of Helping Empower the Less Privileged.
The forum will meet again on October 30. Currently, there are over 15 organisations working together. If your organisation would like to be part of H.E.L.P forum please contact Tammy on 082 371 7053.
