THE October meeting for Probus Club will be held at the Reading Country Club on October 10 at 11am with ventriloquist Gareth Lush as the guest.
Probus is a club for retirees and semi-retirees who get together to share thoughts, interests and participate in activities at a time of life when horizons are narrowing and opportunities to make new friends are limited.
The purpose of this club is to provide regular gatherings of persons who, in retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances and who enjoy similar levels of interest.
