Clean Touch Administrative Services helps the helpless

They have one common goal - to make a difference by educating the community about the pandemic of HIV and Aids.

CLEAN Touch Administrative Services, a home-based non-profit care programme, was established in 2007 to look after elderly and helpless people.

In 2008, orphans and vulnerable children were included in their programme and to also take care of the children and assist them in skills-development as much as possible.

Clean Touch, based in Orange Farm, was formed by a group of concerned young people from different areas after they witnessed their community was perishing more and more due to a lack of knowledge and information.

After deliberating ideas together, members of the Clean Touch group decided to adopt one common goal – to make a difference by educating the community about the pandemic of HIV and Aids.

Research was conducted during the group’s campaigns, which concluded that the elderly are dying sooner due to HIV, Aids and related diseases. Furthermore, as a result of this, more children become orphans who are helpless, vulnerable, with no form of assistance, no source of income or anyone to help them. Children often have to take leadership of the household, without any guardianship.

Today, Clean Touch’s vision is to restore and bring transformation to the disadvantaged and vulnerable within their community and surrounding areas.

Their mission is to uplift and empower orphans, vulnerable children, the elderly, people who are affected by HIV, Aids or other similar chronic illnesses through the use of campaigns, workshops and psycho-social support services.

If you have a passion to help other people or you have a passion to help those who can’t help themselves, Clean Touch Administrative Services would be thrilled for your help.
