Body of man found in field off Dekanah Street in Alrode
The deceased was wearing black trousers and a grey top and is estimated to be around the age of 40.

POLICE discovered the body of a deceased African man in a field off Dekanah Street in Alrode.
The body was found around noon on October 29 when a plaintiff called the police station and showed them the body was. The body was found near a stream, face down in the mud.
Cause of death has not been determined by police but according to Capt Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS, estimations on the level of decomposition of the body places the time of death somewhere close to a week. The deceased was wearing black trousers and a grey top and is estimated to be around the age of 40.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the deceased or what occurred that led to his death is asked to phone Alberton SAPS on 011 861 6800.
