Alberton Lions raise over R24 000 with their ’80s event

Alberton Lions ’80s fund-raiser a huge success.

Alberton Lions Club would like to thank Ricky and Chaz Fortman from The Social Hub for donating the use of their facilities and their time to the club to hold an ’80s party fund-raiser.

The fund-raiser was a huge success and raised over R24 000, which goes back into the Alberton community to support and uplift the people in the area.

Also a huge thank you to Olympus Security for keeping us safe, the DJs who played awesome music for us and mostly to the people who attended the function and helped raise funds to continue serving Alberton the way the club has done for the last 48 years.

Should you be interested in finding out more about the Alberton Lions Club and how we serve the community, please contact Lion Lindy 076 036 9499 or Lion Tammy 082 371 7053.
