Kindhearted lady helps foreigners

One brave lady Magdeline Miles of Chrysler Street took it upon herself to help and protect the foreigners from the mad crowds.

EDEN PARK – “I allowed them to put their possessions in my house, locked them inside and that evening I made beds for them to sleep.

“What the crowds did to these people is not fair. They have done nothing wrong, they are always prepared to help those who need help,” said the kindhearted Magdeline.

The community is thankful to all other people who protected the foreigners and their goods.

The whole of Eden Park was in a turmoil and state of agitation on Tuesday November 19 when groups of youngsters attacked and looted foreigners’ tuck-shops.

Most of the residents were very angry and upset by the looting of the Pakistani and Somali shops.
