Bursary applications are now open for the 2019 academic year
Bursaries are open to the youth of Ekurhuleni who are permanent residents, have a good academic record.

THE City of Ekurhuleni calls upon its residents to apply for bursaries for the 2019 academic year before the closing date on Wednesday, December 14.
Application forms can be downloaded from the City’s website on www.ekurhuleni.gov.za, and once filled in, they should be handed in at any of the City’s public libraries, Customer Care Centres (CCCs) or Youth offices based at the CCCs.
Bursaries are open to the youth of Ekurhuleni who are permanent residents, have a good academic record and potential to study towards a full-time bachelor’s degree, national diploma, certificates in specialised and accredited learning programmes.
These should be programmes from recognised and accredited higher and further education training institutions.
The following are the fields in which bursaries can be applied for:
· Science, aviation, engineering and built environment
· Information communication and technology
· Business management sciences
· Health sciences and humanities
· Technical and vocational education and training
