Donate to make the four-legged children happy

If you can donate a packet of dry dog food or a can, it will put a wag in the tail of little furry faces.

IT’S that time of the year again when everyone is in a festive mood, buying presents and enjoying time with family.

Let’s make it nice and exciting for our four-legged children, too. The SPCA and animal shelters are overcrowded. This is the most difficult season of the year for them and they are in need of food or any donations.

Nibblers Pub and Chill in Florentia decided to fund-raise to collect anything the four-legged children might need before Christmas, and drop off at rescue organisations and shelters.

Please, if you have any old toys, bowls, blankets or leashes, drop them off at 62 Fick Street, Florentia. If you can donate a packet of dry dog food or a can, it will put a wag in the tail of little furry faces.

Funds and goodies will be distributed to the Alberton SPCA, Feral Cats Rescue, in Heidelberg, Animal Anti-Cruelty League and the Germiston SPCA, depending on how much Nibbles can get.

For any information or help with the collection, please contact Lisa Greyvenstein on 083 767 7328.
