Home affairs open 12 hours a day until January 11
To check your registration status, SMS your ID number to 32810.
TO facilitate people who need to get their documentation in order for the national election this year, the Department of Home Affairs offices will be open from 7am to 7pm until January 11.
Residents are encouraged to visit their nearest IEC office to register to vote or SMS their ID number to 32810 to check their registration status. Residents without ID numbers or Smart Cards should contact their nearest home affairs office.
