GALLERY: Crafters Fair brings crafters together
Crafters Fair invited community members to its sixth exhibition from March 1 to 3 at the Hellenic Hall in Alberton.
ALBERTONIANS had the opportunity to browse through the Crafters Fair at the Hellenic Hall from March 1 to 3.
The fair brings crafters and other exhibitors together to the delight of community members to offer them a market where they can browse and buy at their leisure.
Members of the community had a variety of goodies to choose from over 80 exhibitors who came from as far as Pretoria. Among others, exhibitors sold items such as beauty products, jewellery, decorative accessories.
Event organiser Ursula Burger said she was pleased with the attendance of the community and that another market is said to take place this year.
“As organisers, we are very happy with people’s attendance and we encourage more people to support our markets. We are going to have another exhibition in September. More information will be communicated closer to the time,” said Burger.
Johan Buys is a fan of this market and said: “I appreciate these exhibitions. I have been coming here for three years now to buy my favourite hot sauce, which lasts me for at least three months. More similar markets should be hosted on a monthly basis.”
Henriette Pretorius said the market offered great things to choose from.
“I have been coming here with my family for a long time now. It is a great place to come and pick-and-choose because they sell interesting things for the children as well as the elderly,” she said.
