Danone Nations Cup registrations still open

Registrations for Danone Nations Cup still open.

Registrations for the u-12 Danone Nations Cup soccer are still open for schools to enter.

The twelve schools based in the Johannesburg East District will be participating in the Danone Nations Cup.

The 2018 and 2019 tournaments will take place in Barcelona as a double-header this year to coincide with Danone’s 100th birthday and the tournament’s 20th anniversary.

The tournament takes place under the auspices of the South African Schools Football Association (Sasfa).

The matches will be played in a cluster format in March to the national finals which take place in July. The world finals take place in early October.

Schools can register at Sasfa by sending an email to Themba Tshabalala at thembatshabalala@saschoolsfa.co.za or call 011 403 2844, 084 290 0602 or 072 588 4957.

Alternatively, they can visit the Danone Nations Cup South Africa Facebook page or go to www.facebook.com/dncsouthafrica to download the necessary documents. Registration documents are also available on www.danone.co.za
