Violence no more

Men and women stood together fighting for what they believe in... no more violence.

ALBERTON SAPS supported 16 days of activism at Rondebult sports grounds where the community was made aware of domestic violence against women and children.

They had speeches by Const Mgedezi of social crime prevention who informed those present about the motive of the day, the Staion Commamder, CPF, Youth Desk, Councillors and other community leaders.

Proceedings started with a march from the entrance of Rondebult to the sports grounds and were followed by the speeches, whereafter different games were played with the police involved.

Pamphlets with safety tips and awareness were distributed to the community. The whole project was a success and Alberton SAPS thanks everyone who was present and those who donated drinks and sweets for the day.

Trophies and medals were won by different teams.
