ALBERTON City put up a tribute wall next to Clicks on the upper level for the public to write a message remembering what Nelson Mandela had done for our country.
On December 11 many shoppers, including young children, wrote numerous messages on the wall. The messages clearly showed how loved and respected he was nationally and internationally.
Messages such as, “You were the most wonderful man of our time”, “You will be in our thoughts always” and “I thank God for you being a part of our life”.
The wall was already full with people struggling to find space to leave their messages.
