Last Man Stands teams invited to play
Last Man Stands is an exciting cricket format where the last member of an eight-man team can bat by himself.

REGISTRATION for the Last Man Stands winter league cricket is open.
Last Man Stands is an interesting twist on T20 cricket played between teams of eight players.
Several small rule changes serve to make the games exciting and accessible to players from all abilities, be they club players or just social.
The first and most important rule change is that there are eight players in a team and all eight of them must be bowled out before the end of innings.
This means the last man can remain batting on his own and can only score two, a four or a six. Other rule changes include being able to dismiss two players on the same delivery via catching one out and running out another, and forcing a batsman to retire once he has achieved a 50.
The batsman can return, but only after all his other teammates have been dismissed.
Last Man Stands is played all over the world with over 150 000 players joining in globally in 2018. So get your team of eight friends together and join the games being played at Kibler Park Recreational Centre and Alberton Cricket Club.
The matches will be played over a nine-week period. You can register online at www.lastmanstands.com or send an email to Alberton@lastmanstans.net
