TRAIN Kids Preschool Academy handed over clothes they collected through their annual clothing drive with the intent to help victims of cyclones in Mozambique and Malawi.
The donation to Pastor Isaac Sebolai from Saints of Service Bible Church took place on May 31 and he will distribute the donations to victims of these disasters.
The school has, for the past three years, donated to Isaac who commits to community outreaches in Katlehong and surrounding areas. These clothes were graciously received from parents at the school who hoped to make a difference in communities.
Leoni Boucher, principal at Train Kids Preschool Academy, said through this initiative she wished to teach the children to be generous in giving back.
“We want to teach our little ones from a tender age to learn to give back to those in need. To know that if you have something that no longer fits you, hand it over to someone else. We are truly grateful for the parents’ support in this good deed,” she said.
Isaac extended his gratitude to the school.
“I would like to thank the school and parents who made this a success, may God bless them. Through this initiative the school is grooming a mission-minded generation, who will give back to the needy,” he said.
