Firearm and competency certificate ready for collection

Booysens SAPS wants people to collect their cards.

BOOYSENS SAPS extends its gratitude to members of the public who collected their outstanding competency cards.

However, there are cards which still need to be collected and SAPS is urging people to come to the station and get their cards. Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said they have decided to slot in two Saturdays in June which will be June 1 and 8 from 8am until 12pm for people to come and check if their competency certificate or firearm licenses are at the station.

“Please take note that once a card is printed the paper competency certificate falls away. Therefore you are urgently requested to check if your competency card is at the station,” stated Van Emmerik.

For more information, people can contact the Booysens SAPS office on 011 433 5363 or 011 433 5364.
