Illegal dumping on Delphinium Street close to the Old Vereeniging Road
A civilian truck dumped its load of rubbish in Alrode.
A COMPLAINANT notified the RECORD of an unmarked civilian truck dumping its rubbish next to Delphinium Street close to the Old Vereeniging Road on June 28.
According to the complainant, the truck dumped its contents, mostly paper and plastic, around noon.
He further added that people immediately started picking among the rubbish for bottles.
The registration of the truck has been made known to the RECORD and we have forwarded it to the relevant authorities.
