ALBERTON CPF invites the community to its talk, which will feature experts from different fields, focusing on different topics of bullying.

At their monthly sub-sector meetings, the topic of bullying has been raised several times, especially during the child protection period.

This meeting will address the bullying that takes place in society and leads to a high rate of teenage suicides.

Join the CPF for their talk on bullying to be held on August 3 at 10am at Dutch Reformed Church South Crest, as they will focus on several educational topics.

Pieter Schreiber, chairperson for Alberton CPF, said this topic is close to their hearts.

“As most of the members of the Alberton CPF are parents, we would like to create more awareness about bullying.

“We will focus on the different types of bullying there are and to help parents and peers identify some of the signs that are sometimes being missed,” said Schreiber. He said the guest speakers will be from Mission Impact Training Centre, which has a bullying programme that addresses the different aspects of bullying.
