UPDATE: Alberton Parks Department cut bushy weeds on Brackenhurst pedestrian bridge

Alberton Parks Department has cut the bushy weeds on the Brackenhurst pedestrian bridge at the corner of Stander and Hennie Alberts streets on July 17.

ALBERTON Parks Department has finally cut the bushy weeds on the Brackenhurst pedestrian bridge at the corner of Stander and Hennie Alberts streets on July 17.

This comes after a complaint from a Brackenhurst resident regarding overgrown weeds on the pedestrian bridge posing a threat to the structure of the bridge.

A senior clerk for Alberton Parks Department at the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, Given Khosa, commented: “The issue has been resolved, and all Alberton residents can contact 011 999 2580 for help with either tree pruning, cleaning of parks and grass cutting.”
