Ekurhuleni comments on open power box

The City of Ekurhuleni appeals to residents to report all service delivery issues.

THE City of Ekurhuleni provided comment on the letter about an open power box, published on page 4 of the RECORD of July 17.

According to the City of Ekurhuleni, they were unaware of the open power box as the matter had not been reported.

The City’s energy department dispatched officials to close the box on July 18.

They encouraged residents to assist the city in addressing service bottlenecks by reporting incidents by calling the 24-hour call centre on 086 054 3000, using the My Ekurhuleni App or visiting their nearest customer care centre.
