Electrical Warehouse and Tutela blanket drive brings relief to those in need

Electrical Warehouse and Tutela worked together to provide homeless people in Alberton with a blanket and meal.

ELECTRICAL Warehouse, in partnership with Tutela, held a blanket drive on July 20.

According to Dillan Botha from Electrical Warehouse, one of their visions is generosity.

“As staff, we decided to bring the staff together,” said Dillon.

“I chose to lead the team by asking what change they want to make in the world. We want to help give back. We don’t want to do it from the point of view of the company, but have our staff involved themselves.”

On the day, they gave people in need each a blanket and hot soup and bread.

To inspire the volunteers, Electrical Warehouse director Leon Nicodemus said: “Each of us can’t do everything, but we can do something together.”
