WITH August 9 being Women’s Day, the RECORD took to the streets to ask Albertonians which woman they consider the most influential woman in their lives.
NOSINTU LUDIDI: “I consider my mother an influential person. As a single and unemployed woman, she managed to raise me, and for that I’m grateful.”
KEANU BOSHOFF: “I look up to my mother for the kind of person she is. She has been through thick and thin with me. At some stage in my life she offered great support while I faced life’s challenges.”
LEHLOKOMELO LEFASA: “My mother. She played a huge role in raising me up to this age. I’m where I am because of her and she is the one person who taught me respect.”
DEAN DE LANGE: “To me an influential person is my mother. She always offers me support in everything, and for that I look up to her.”
