Donate to Stepping Stone Hospice and stand a chance to win a cash prize of R20 000

This is an initiative where you, by donating to hospice, stand a chance to win cash prizes on a monthly basis, ranging from the R20 000 first prize to the last prize of R500.

AFTER months of hard work and careful planning, Stepping Stone Hospice is finally ready to launch its Club 2000 fund-raising programme.

This is an initiative where you, by donating to hospice, stand a chance to win cash prizes on a monthly basis, ranging from the R20 000 first prize to the last prize of R500.

“We’ve been successful in registering a lottery scheme in terms of the Lotteries Act, 57 of 1997, and this licence now allows for us to promote a Club 2000 programme,” explained Marietjie Tame, the hospice’s fund-raising and marketing manager.

“It’s actually a very simple yet exciting programme. Any member of the public can purchase a R50 ticket per month for 12 months, which then gives him or her a lucky number into the monthly draws. There are seven cash prizes, monthly, up for grabs, a first prize of R20 000, second prize of R2 000, third prize of R1 000 and four prizes of R500 each.

“The Club 2000 only allows for two thousand R50 tickets (numbers), which makes the odds of winning the grand prize so much better,” said Marietjie.

Entrants are not restricted to buying only one ticket per month. They can purchase as many as they want per month, as long as it is for a 12-month period.

“There are various ways of entering. One is to click on the link below to complete a debit order form:

https://www.steppingstonehospice.co.za/index.php/donations/club-2000 upon which you will receive your lucky numbers once the funds are reflected in the bank account.

“Another option is to email your contact details. We will then forward you the necessary entry forms to be completed and returned to us at club2000@steppingstonehospice.co.z

Stepping Stone Hospice and Care Services is the only non-profit, community-based organisation in greater Alberton, Bassonia, Glenvista, Kathehong, Thokoza and Vosloorus, where the sole mission is to offer comprehensive palliative care services, with an in-home programme as well as an in-patient facility.

This hospice is largely reliant on the generosity of the community and their own fund-raising efforts in order for them to keep their doors open.

For any further information on the Club 2000, contact Marietjie on 010 442 5059.
