GALLERY: Women in for a real treat at the Glen’s Wimpy
It does not matter how big or small a gift you give, what matters is that it comes from your heart.

ON August 8, a group of women from the Hamlet Foundation, in conjunction with the Sue Lubbe and Friends Charity Foundation, were in for an afternoon of special delights at the Glen’s Wimpy.
The ladies were treated to pink milkshakes sponsored by Wimpy, a lunch sponsored by Pick n Pay and were given coloured pencils by PNA to use in their brand new adult colouring books sponsored by Marinda Pienaar.
Sue Lubbe also showered the ladies with special gifts in the form of costume jewellery.
“It does not matter how big or small a gift you give, what matters is that it comes from your heart,” Sue added.
She wanted to thank all the areas in Johannesburg South that persistently work with them and donate as much as they do. She also offered words of inspiration to all women for Women’s Day saying.
“If you can dream it, you can be it, nothing is impossible,” she said.
CEO of the Hamlet Foundation Segri Subrumuny said none of the residents at Hamlet were to be forgotten this Women’s Month, that they have rights and are being empowered by the work done at Hamlet.
The Hamlet Foundation was founded in 1954 and works with disabled children and adults.
It was a wonderful lunch with a vast array of finger foods, and each lady was made to feel special.
Other guests included Robyn Mawhood from PNA, Jackie Rehr from Sue Lubbe and Friends, Farah and Alaan Bava, who sponsor Sue Lubbe and Friends, Zodwa Kobese and Shosani Dakumi, who represented Pick n Pay, and Bruce McIntosh from Wimpy at The Glen.
