Car accident survivor still in shock after horrific accident
Car accident survivor tells her story.
A story of my car accident
MY NAME is Zandi Kubheka, I am 37 years old. I bought the car and it arrived on September 12, my commitment was to go to KZN for my brother’s funeral. After I knocked off at 2pm on September 13, I went home to Vosloorus to fetch my father and my Aunt to travel together to KZN.
We went very well, listening to gospel music and the trip was thrilling. When I approached Volksrust on the R23, the problem started. The last thing I saw on my right-hand side was the tractor and an elderly pair, one was on the tractor and the other was standing next to him. When I was almost past them, a strong wind came and I saw nothing, I just felt the car flying and it rolled.
The power of the Almighty saved us, no one was injured and we are all alive. The roof of the car on my side fell in, it was supposed to hit my head but the hand of our glorious God did not allow it. When I got out of the car, I opened the door where my aunt was seated and where my dad was. The door was locked, so I flattened the backrest of the chair and he crawled to the back door and got out. When I went back to my door to fetch my insurance documents, I couldn’t get in because the roof was fallen in. What amazed me is that I don’t know how I got out, but God did it. Glory to God who fights our battles, he deserves all the praise.
I would like to thank my colleagues who showed love, care and support during the time of accident. Tutela Alberton staff, you are so amazing. May God bless you.
