Street store held in aid of the homeless

AN ALBERTONIAN seeks any form of donations in making her second street store a success.

The community is invited to attend a street store to be held at Jackson Dam parking section on October 19 at 9am.

In 2016, Nadia Mota had a dream of collecting just enough second-hand clothing that would enable her to host a street store.

She then came up with the concept of the street store, through which homeless people around the Alberton area would be able to shop for clothing items in a dignified manner.

All they needed was to arrive and would then be able to choose clothing items or shoes that they loved and receive toiletries and a warm meal.

With her previous street store being a success, she is now collecting second-hand items of clothing or shoes for her upcoming street store.

To make any donations or help offer your services on the day, contact Nadia on 083 635 1070.
