Dutch Reformed Church is turning 80 and you are invited to its celebration

THE community is invited to join Dutch Reformed Church on its 80th celebration. It will be held from November 22 to 24 in Parklands Avenue, in Alberton North.

The evening of November 22, at 7pm, will feature a concert of Alberton’s Male Choir with Yoti “the Greek Boertjie”. The weekend-long event will touch on the history of the congregation since 1939. On November 23, at 6pm, attendees will enjoy organ performances, singing and a preparatory service. To close off the celebration with a bang, on Sunday morning, at 9.30am, there will be a worship and communion service.
