Donations for abused victims

Due to the increased incidents of abuses their crews have recently seen, they want to make care packs to assist the victims they treat and transport.

Members from National Paramedical Services want to change the lives of others this year by collecting donations for abused victims.

This is a new initiative by the organisation.

“In previous years, they collected donations for different organisations to try to make a difference, but this year they want to do something different,” said Chantal Peel, one of the paramedics.

Due to the increased incidents of abuse their crews have recently seen, they want to make care packs to assist the victims they treat and transport.

“We fully understand that by providing them with a care pack it can’t undo what has happened, but it can most definitely make a difference in helping the victims feel loved.”

If you want to help, they need the following items:

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste.

•Shower gel.

• Face cloths.

• Tissues.

• Deodorant (male and female).

•Mouthwash.

• Comb or brushes.

• Sanitary pads.

• New underwear.

• Sweets or non perishable treats.

If you want to make a difference, or donate anything before the end of the year, contact National Paramedical Services on

071 530 2479.
