GriefShare – for those who lost a loved one

GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centred support group seminar for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend through death.

Anyone who has lost a loved one, whether the loss was four months ago or 20 years ago, GriefShare has proved helpful.

GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centred support group seminar for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend through death.

Every day people who have gone through the grieving process share their stories of what has helped them deal with the pain of losing a loved one through death.

They meet once a week for 13 weeks for two hours on a Monday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion with a small tea break in between.

The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, re-enactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours.

It also includes a workbook which aids in note-taking, journaling and grief study.

The next seminar will take place at Brackenhurst Baptist Church, 29 Chrissie Street entrance, starting on the first Monday in February.

Cost is R150 per person for the 13-week course.

You can sign up by leaving a WhatsApp message for Tammy van den Heuvel on 072 316 1601 or sending an email to Tammyvdh@gmail.com
