JRA perturbed by scam vacancy advert

JRA would like to thank the public for alerting them to this scam.

THE Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) is perturbed by the scam of false job vacancies as advertised on the Facebook page called Recruitment Agency in Gauteng.

As such, JRA would like to thank the public for alerting them to this scam.

JRA has under no circumstances advertised for these external positions as advertised on this Facebook page.

Should there be any vacancies advertised by the JRA, due process will be followed as per usual.

Importantly, JRA does not use social media to advertise vacancies but the JRA website and national newspapers.

Acting managing director of JRA, Siyabonga Nodu, said, “JRA follows internal processes where positions are approved as per the structure and in order to be advertised, they must be funded. And as JRA, we therefore wish to distance ourselves from such a scam.”
