To celebrate 2020 as the year of reinvention, staff from Train Kids Preschool Academy in Randhart wore their 1920s outfits on January 31.

The Roaring Twenties refers to the decade of the 1920s in Western society and Western culture, a period of economic prosperity and an era of fashion.

Teachers and all staff members at the school dressed beautifully for the occasion and shared their year plans, while being treated to tasty meals.

Christali Botha, director at the academy, said through remembering the Roaring Twenties they aimed to reinvent the school and their personal lives.

“This year we decided that we’re going to reinvent ourselves and the school. All the teachers had to come up with an action plan on what change they hope to bring. I encourage other schools to do this because it’s an opportunity for people to celebrate themselves,” she said.
