WATCH: EMPD officer clean up Greenfields Street after electricity protest
They destroyed a road sign and left the street ruined.

An EMPD member, Walter Ndebele has taken upon himself to clean a Greenfields Street after protesters took to the streets to vent their frustration earlier on February 26.
A few residents of Greenfields protested at the corner of K91 and Umbrella Street and barricaded the road and other few roads with burning tyres, litter, and stones.
The residents protested after having an electricity outage since Monday. The electricity returned immediately after the residents took to the streets, blocking motorists from making their way to the township.
According to a resident, the protesters threatened to close schools in the area if the electricity didn’t return before 1 pm.
They destroyed a road sign and left the street ruined.
The road is clear and the crowd of protesters cleared before EMPD members could arrive.
