South Rand Hospital hosted a tuberculosis (TB) awareness campaign for its staff and the public on March 19.
Many staff members came in to be screened and were given brochures on how to treat TB and avoid being infected. The Hill-based hospital stages events of this kind once a year to keep its staff and the public in the know about TB.
