KYLE Grant, a resident of Randhart and a band member of the ADAM group, were introduced to the public in January. He comes from a musical background, with both parents who are musicians.
Kyle started singing since the age of four years old, attended school at Alberview Primary and North Cliff High, while his passion for music remains the soul of his inspiration.
“I’ve been inspired by a lot of artists with a raw, soulful sound, such as John Meyer, Mumford and Sons and Joni Mitchell,” said Kyle.
The three of the band members have a vast musical taste. They write a lot of songs together and when they get together, they mix their ideas and influences, from which their music is born.
“We have to keep in mind to accommodate the public. There are emotions and soul that goes into it, but we also have to stick to a certain formula that the public can relate to,” he explained.
According to Kyle, the band are always looking for fresh concepts as far as writing is concerned.
