Big snake found in shack

Residents living near the PPK Church in Audi Street, where a dumping site have been established, have reported seeing snakes at the site.

EDEN PARK – One resident, Linda Smith of 47 Audi Street, came face to face with a big snake in her shack (Zozo) a few weeks ago while preparing for work.

“I was getting dressed for work, when I noticed something on the floor. Thinking it was my son’s belt, I tried to pick it up, but suddenly it moved and I realised that it was a snake. I ran out screaming and when I returned with my landlord, we could not find the snake.

“For two days I had to sleep at my landlord’s house, for my disabled child could easily mistake the snake for a toy and end up dead. The metro council must please clean the rubbish, and people from Audi Street must stop dumping their rubbish here,” she said.
