Cause of Alrode fire under investigation

ALBERTON – “The fire burned the man on his back, leaving him in a critical but stable condition. Firefighters from various emergency services reacted swiftly to extinguish the fire as a collective before it affected other areas,” said Ekurhuleni Media Spokesperson of Disasteer and Emergency Services, William Ntladi.

Uniresins, the firm involved, promised to respond as soon as the source of the fire is investigated.

The firefighters came from Alberton, Palm Ridge, Thokoza, and Wadeville fire stations, to extinguish the fire before it spread to other nearby firms.
